But all that “buying, buying, buying” that we do in our society, had contributed to the world of fast fashion: cheap garments and clothing collections that change every six weeks. All intended to make the consumer by new clothes every time. Because of this people, animals and the earth are being exploited for our clothes. Due to the low prices of our clothing, we no longer appreciate it. On average we wear out clothes only five times before throwing it away. Clothes have become a disposable item, with terrible consequences.
