If you are reading this blog, you have found my new website: palaceofbliss.com! Woohoo! Welcome! My name is Hailey and I am the founder of Palace of Bliss, a lifestyle blog about fair fashion and conscious and sustainable living. I have been blogging for two years on the Dutch version of Palace of Bliss. I felt that it was time to also tell my story in English, and tadaaa! Here it is!
Let me start by introducing myself properly. I am Hailey Noa, 31 years old and I live together with my boyfriend and my rabbits Uk and Lizz, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
In a past life, I worked as an employment lawyer. I have turned it over a new leaf and now I work as a fair fashion and sustainable lifestyle expert. In my job I do anything that makes me happy: fair fashion, sustainable lifestyle, writing, hosting workshops, giving lectures and consultancy.
Palace of Bliss is the place where all my passions come together. Also, I work as a sports and yoga teacher. As you can see, I am very diverse and I love to roll up my sleeves.
About Palace of Bliss
Palace of Bliss is the result of my wish to live a conscious and sustainable life. My journey to this lifestyle started nine years ago when I became a vegetarian. While doing research about my new diet, I discovered that eating meat is not only terrible for animals, but also for the environment. This discovery was the start of my fair and eco-conscious lifestyle. Over the years I have exchanged my vegetarian diet for a vegan one and I am all about saving the planet and animals.
I created Palace of Bliss in 2015, because of my passion for and knowledge about fair fashion and the sustainable lifestyle. Palace of Bliss is interesting for everyone who is curious about sustainable living. With Palace of Bliss, I want to make sustainable and conscious living available for everyone who is interested in making changes in their lifestyle.
With my blogs, I want to show you that small changes in your lifestyle have a big effect on the environment. I want to encourage you to think about changes that are doable for you and this way little by little transform your lifestyle.
With practical tips, in-depth background articles about fair fashion, yoga, mindfulness, and sustainability in the widest sense of the word, I hope to inspire you towards becoming a greener version of yourself!
Fair fashion Ya’ll!
Fair fashion is one of the main subjects of Palace of Bliss. If you want to know more about this I’d recommend you to read my blog about why I choose fair fashion so you can get to know a bit more about why I do what I do. Also, the blog in which I explain the 5 biggest issues in the fashion industry could be interesting. And don’t forget to check out some of my fair fashion outfits like this one for some inspiration.
E-book and fair fashion guide
To help you to transition to a sustainable wardrobe I have created a free e-book “A Sustainable Wardrobe in Seven Steps”. This e-book will help you to make your wardrobe more sustainable. Also, you can find a Fair Fashion Guide on the website with an overview of fair and sustainable fashion brands. This guide will get a small makeover in the coming period, but it is already pretty cool. So, head on over there to have a look.
More to come!
In the coming months, I will add more blogs about fair fashion, but also about sustainable living and veganism, so stay tuned. In January, I will be traveling through Thailand, but as soon as I am back, you can expect a new blog every week.
If there is any topic that you would like to see a blog about, just send an email to email@example.com and I’ll see what I can do for you.
There are already more than 250 blogs on the Dutch version of my website. So if you are curious to see what is there, visit the Dutch page of Palace of Bliss and use Google Translate to browse! It works pretty good!
