Hi there! I am back from my Thailand trip and I am ready to rock the world of bloggers again. Hopefully, you followed my travel adventures on Instagram. A little overview of the trips will follow shortly on the Dutch website. But today I am going to kick off with a new fair fashion outfit. This outfit is winter proof and I totally adore it! I hope you like it as much as I do. Let me know what you think! I am always happy to hear from you!
I borrowed his vintage cardigan for Lena the Fashion library. Have you ever seen the television show The Goldbergs? It is a comedy that is based on the eighties. The mom in the show always wears typical eighties, hysterical sweaters. Ever since I started watching this show I wanted a sweater like that. Needless to say, I was immediately obsessed with this cardigan when I saw it. And I love the color!
Clutch from Mind Your Bag
I am combining this outfit with a clutch from the sustainable bag brand Mind Your Bag. This brand is founded by Mieke Langenhuizen and she makes her bags from exclusive leftover dust stalls from the furniture industry.
The stalls are pieces fabric rolls that are not big enough to cover another piece of furniture. Mieke also uses old sample books from which customers can choose the desired fabric for their new couch. Since the original purpose of the fabrics is covering pieces of furniture, they are of a great quality and they have an average lifespan of 30 years! That is what I call sustainable!
Also, all bags are unique because of the limited availability of the fabrics. So with Mind Your Bag you are guaranteed to buy a high-quality bag, which is one of a kind and extremely durable.
I received a clutch from Mind Your Bag, but they also have festival bags, beach bags and tote bags in their collection. Be sure to take a look at their website to view the collection: www.mindyourbag.nl. They are great!
Bootiez shoe accessories
I have restyled my old pumps with a pair of Bootiez. Bootiez is a shoe accessory brand. They make sleeves that give your boots, pumps or shoes a new look. This way you have shoes for every occasion, without buying new ones. There are eleven different types of Bootiez, which are all vegan.
In this outfit, I am wearing the Bootiez Shimmering Dream. They kept me warm during the shooting of the outfit. I clearly felt the difference in temperature when I took off the Bootiez. So for the remaining winter months, I will surely be wearing my Bootiez during the remaining as much as I can!
like a good hat every now and then. Maybe you already noticed that if you are following me for some time. I always feel super chic when I wear this hat! I imagine myself to be a sophisticated lady from the twenties who goes a night out. Haha, can you see why? I bought this hat at a second-hand store a couple years ago. I still adore it as much as I did when I saw it for the first time!
Jeans by Kuyichi and shirt by ROYAL BAMBOO
In this look, I combine my statement items with a black basic shirt from ROYAL BAMBOO and black jeans by Kuyichi. The shirt is made of bamboo, which is sustainable. It feels like silk, but it is animal-friendly. I love it!
The jeans are made by ethical brand Kuyichi. All jeans are made of 69% organic cotton, 29% of recycled cotton, and 2% of elastane. The jeans are made in Turkey and Tunisia in certified fabrics that guarantee environmentally friendly production and good working conditions.
